Senior Smart Contract Developer (Wasm+Solidity)

About you

Babylon protocols heavily rely on smart contracts deployed on the connected blockchains. The types of smart contracts include but are not limited to, DeFi smart contracts, cross-chain message passing smart contracts, cross-chain token transfer contracts, and on-chain light clients. You will be a senior smart contract developer leading the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of all Babylon smart contracts. You will also liaision with the BD and product teams to facilitate the adoption of Babylon protocols.

Requirements

You are an experienced smart contract developer with solid experience in CosmWasm and are familiar with the Cosmos SDK and IBC. You have experience developing Defi and cross-chain smart contracts. Ideally, you also have experience in Solidity/EVM development. You are passionate and ambitious about blockchain and want to make the maximum impact and get rewarded. You follow best practices in software development and have high work standards. You are self-driven, responsible, and willing to help others.

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, electrical engineering, or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in smart contract development

  • 2+ years of experience in Rust (preferably for CosmWasm)

  • Experience with Cosmos SDK, IBC, and other cross-chain infraFamiliar with CI/CD pipeline

  • Can work both independently and as a team member

  • Fluent oral and written communication in English(preferred) experience in solidity/EVM
